Withregards to the original vs remastered, the remastered has much better visuals for environments but worse for character faces. It also introduces some quality of life upgrades and modifies the HUD, but in my opinion doesn't go far enough and they should have brought all of it more in line with AC4 and Rogue by adding the cross weapon menu.
