Diesel pump removal 2.4 aab. Hi. Looking for a bit of advice/support on removing the fuel pump. I need the seals replacing and the labour time involved in removing the pump is going to be expensive at a garage but they told me if I could get the pump out and take it to them it would be much cheaper. I bought a 2.4 T4 earlier on in the year to convert. It ran fine on the 60 miles home and I was well chuffed. I put it in for new cambelts,, an apparently £300 job. But they found more and more wrong with it and it ended up costing me £1200. Then the gearbox began making nasty noises.
